I later happened to notice that the identical fabric was featured as "home dec" (@a steep price ) --- which, at Beverly's Fabrics, means it receives the elite treatment ---- tube-rolled on wooden dowels ...
(my FAVORITE method of fabric display in my home, btw).
My observations----my find is completely devoid of polyester, it handles easily, and doesn't wrinkle much, and shrivels never. So, it is possible to love a sheer and not iron incessantly, if that matters. I quilted double faced (self) --- worked like a dream. If you want to pay Harts prices--- as you have been steered --- you may wish to consider silk cotton sheer blends, which, in my experience handles well, behaves cooperatively, lively for long skirts!
